Bonus post.
I saw these pictures of 9 and 10 years ago today and had a little laugh.
Goodness, that’s an awful lot of hostas! Most of those are long gone. That exposure was way too much sun for them. I moved them more into the shade and used the space for more daylilies. But the South Seas and Naomi Ruth were there all those years ago 🙂
We seem to have a lot in common when it comes to flower/plant choices. Do you have irises? I can’t remember if you have posted about them or not.

We really do have a lot of the same plants! For irises, I have grown Siberian Iris at the townhouse, but they take up way too much room, so I gave them to my MIL years ago. I grew dozens of Bearded Iris at previous houses, but I have tried several times at the townhouse and they won’t grow here. Weird, right?
I grow Bearded Iris at the historic cemetery, and they do very well there 🙂

Iris really are picky about where they do best. In my garden they always bloom their little hearts out in the places where I DON’T want them! LOL
