LOL I had that problem with squirrels. I don’t recommend this for dogs, but for the squirrels a good deterrent has been a few drops of lemongrass oil diluted in a spray bottle and sprayed on the parts they were chewing.

Do you have any suggestions for deterring rabbits…. baby rabbits…tons of them!!! They are eating everything I plant. I have never had this problem before.

I use the diluted lemongrass spray sometimes on the border pavers. Last year I also realized that they were staying away from my Forget-Me-Nots, so I keep a few around the gardens, especially the younger plants.
Nothing seems to be 100% but a combination seems to do the job most of the time.
I have also used the repellant powder that smells bad but sadly that was the least effective.
I hope you find something that works.

Yikes! I just set out some new coleus and sprayed it liberally with the stinky stuff that you can buy! I sure hope it works.
